Happy Paradise is award-winning (Asia’s Best Female Chef 2017) May Chow’s third restaurant after Little Bao (Hong Kong and Bangkok) and Second Draft. We take pride in turning out good vibes, great music, a relaxed ambience, inventive Neo-Chinese food and cocktails. Our vivacious staff are young, energetic, knowledgeable and take making merry very, very seriously.

INTERIORS Working with Mash (the design team behind Mexicola, Hotel Jesus and Africola), Happy Paradise is a tongue-in-cheek reinterpretation of a casual Chinese joint, taking inspiration from cha chaan tengs, mahjong houses, Hong Kong saunas and Shanghainese barber shops. Underneath the lit riot of neon by the bar and all over the ceiling, patterned tiling plus an extensive use of mirrors gives off a laid-back vibe with a colourful sense of humour, unconstrained and unconventional.
