The food was awesome and the ambivalence was nice. Menu choice was of good variety. Services are in general good and although we appreciate the hospitality of a waiter in chiming in with some jokes, prolonged participation in guests' tete-a-tete dinner which was totally unrelated to the food but only about his own hobby and our personal topic could be seen as unprofessionally overdoing. What I am talking about is at least three times of self-inviting himself to the dinner, with at least 15-20 mins in the last round. This is my first such encounter at this place (or to be precise, at a high end hotel or restaurant) that he successfully loomed larger than the food in my impression of the place and the menu.

Everything good except the main course of fish is a bit too small portion as main.
Overall and enjoyable meal with great service and interesting menu, some of the dishes can be improved though, one of the fish dishes tastes very bland while the award-winning Dover sole is very good.

Having Moelleux Chennin paired with Duck Foie Gras was good. Nevertheless, having Touraine Gamay paired with Pike Perch was unable to deliver any enhanced benefits to both.
1) food was good 2) service was ok but below expectation ( different waiters served our table asking same questions, no farewell service ritual) 3) Food hygiene.
I did have some expectation for the dinner. However, we sat there for over 20 mins before finally came someone who took orders for us. Then every time that night when we want something, like get some pepper, it was always long waiting time. Food wise, guess the chef just got a big discount of salt which made him/her way too generous when preparing the dishes. We kept drinking water to wash down the salty flavor and definitely it overwhelmed any good side of the dishes. Well the only one that was not salty was the dessert. Come back again? I’ll think twice.
