Chef Daniel Smeenk, from Shangri-La Hotel, Beijing’s French restaurant, AZUR, will make a guest appearance at Restaurant Petrus from 1 to 3 March. With this guest appearance in Hong Kong, Chef Daniel will reunite with his counterpart, Chef Ricardo Chaneton at Restaurant Petrus, a fellow alumnus who also worked with distinguished Chef, Mauro Colagreco at his Michelin 2-starred restaurant, Mirazu, in Menton, France.
Chef Smeenk will present AZUR's signature dishes, such as marinated scallop with citrus yoghurt and Granny Smith apple, Wagyu short rib pastrami with red cabbage, cauliflower salad and Sichuan pepper jus, as well as apple sponge cake with ginger custard at Restaurant Petrus, during the dinner service period on 1 March 2018, and at both lunch and dinner on 2 and 3 March 2018.
Perched high above the city with breath-taking views of Victoria Harbour, Restaurant Petrus revitalises the fine dining experience with a refreshing interpretation of contemporary French cuisine.
Complementing the delightful dishes is the elegant décor of the main dining room, which also offers panoramic views of Hong Kong.
